I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Waxahachie. The location can’t be beat. it's right next to Target and lots of restaurants, all within walking distance. The staff offered friendly service from check-in to check-out, making me feel welcomed. My room was clean, which is a huge plus. It had comfy beds, and I enjoyed a good night's sleep. Breakfast options exceeded my expectations with fresh omelettes, biscuits, and a handy pancake maker. The hot breakfast was a delightful surprise that I looked forward to every morning. However, there was some noise from the highway that made it hard to get a good night's rest on occasion. Also, the only elevator available was a bit slow, which was frustrating at times, especially after breakfast. Overall, service and cleanliness made the stay enjoyable, but the noise and slow elevator definitely left room for improvement.
